Deep tissue massage-
Therapists utilize techniques involving the use of elbows, direct pressure or cross-fiber friction to target chronic tension in deeper lying muscles, tendons and fascia that can lead to decreased range of motion and stiffness/soreness in the body.
Hot stone massage-
A deeply relaxing technique involving the use of heated, smooth rocks applied to the skin to promote release of tension and soreness in muscles.
Lymphatic massage-
Massage techniques intended to promote lymphatic drainage to relieve swelling and pain after medical procedures, illnesses, or cancer treatments that block the lymphatic system. Therapists will use very light touch in specific areas to help the body move lymphatic fluid through the system.
Prenatal massage-
Massage techniques created specifically for releasing the muscle tension and pain experienced by pregnant women. Performed by certified prenatal therapists and safe for all stages of pregnancy, prenatal massage is intended to assist pregnant women in easing aches and pains through all stages of pregnancy.
Swedish massage-
A lighter, very relaxing touch intended to promote circulation and stress relief.
Myofascial massage-
Utilizes a gentle, constant pressure to relieve tension and pain in myofascial system. Therapist will focus on trigger points or pressure points in fascia tissues and release them with manual techniques.
Cupping-
The use of suction cups applied to strategic areas of the body to promote circulation of blood to underlying muscular tissues and fascia as well as release trigger points and muscle knots.
